Valve installation

After purchasing the appropriate valve, you also should pay attention to the installation. Field technicians may cause further damage to the valve when removing the valve end cover. When the end cap is removed, dust and foreign matter will deposit in the valve, which may cause damage to the ball and seat and cause leakage once installed. So don't open the end cover if these is no special reason.

Wrong hoisting of pneumatic valve or electric valve will damage actuator and valve. When transporting the valve on site, by using the lifting ring on the valve, and do not lift the valve or actuator through the valve stem. Therefore, in the installation stage, the most important step is to purge the pipeline before it is pressurized.

Valve maintenance

After the valve is installed, regular maintenance is required to prevent the failure of the valve and driving equipment. Lubricate the valve monthly which is in service and optimize the performance of the valve.

Finally, there are some notes:

• Ensure the bill of material of start and control accessories of valve will meet our specification sheet.

• The packing of the valve must be inspected to ensure that the  valve and parts are in good condition during transportation, and all grease fittings are present.

• Make sure the process connection of the valve is covered to prevent dust and debris from entering the body cavity.
