Working Principle of Flange Type Butterfly Valve

The design of the metal-sealed valve adopts the principle of triple eccentric structure and utilizes the inherent cam effect, which completely eliminates all the friction between the valve seat and the sealing ring during the 90-degree stroke. The design of the rubber soft sealing butterfly valve adopts a single eccentric structure, which is different from the centerline soft sealing. After the disc rotates about 20 degrees, the valve seat and the sealing ring are quickly separated, thereby reducing friction.

The butterfly plate of different types of butterfly valves are installed in the diameter direction of the pipeline. In the cylindrical channel of the butterfly valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis, and the rotation angle is between 0° and 90°. When it rotates to 90°, the flanged type butterfly valve is fully open.

Features of Flanged Hard-Sealing Butterfly Valve

1. The butterfly plate sealing ring is a soft and hard laminated metal sheet, which has the dual advantages of metal hard sealing and elastic sealing. Flanged Hard-Sealing Butterfly Valve has excellent sealing performance both at low temperature and high temperature.

2. The three-dimensional eccentric structure is adopted, the valve seat and the disc are almost frictionless. And the valve has the sealing function.

3. The sealing surface of the valve body is made of surfacing stainless steel and cobalt-based cemented carbide. The sealing surface is wear-resistant and has a long service life.
