When assembling electric butterfly valves, it is not desirable if the output torque of the electric device selected is too large or insufficient. In general, electric device manufacturers need to test and adjust the output torque value when the product leaves the factory, which is relatively accurate. If the output torque margin is too large, the electric valve will have great potential danger. Once the failure of control and protection occurs, it is easy to cause valve damage and pipeline system accidents. Therefore, it is not advisable to select the output torque with a large margin. In addition, it is an unreasonable choice if the valve cannot be opened in the operation.
If the valve axial force is carried by the electric device (i.e. the stem nut is in the electric device), the thrust value must not exceed the allowable value of the electric device.
When selecting a multi-turn valve electric device, the maximum number of turns of the stem nut during operation must be stated. In this way, the relevant gear ratio of the position indicating mechanism in the electric device can be correctly selected to make the position indication has sufficient accuracy to meet the observation of the valve opening and closing degree during the operation of electric butterfly valves. Otherwise, it is easy to cause illusions and affect normal operation.
Currently, the part-turn electric butterfly valve device has mechanical limits to prevent the disc position cannot be determined. The corresponding relationship between the connection screw hole and the keyway position between the valve and the electric device is strictly required.
