Recently, two cherry blossom-themed 3D-printed public restrooms, designed by SpaceDicon made a stunning debut along the Wuhan Marathon route in Renhe Road, Hongshan District. The all-pink-and-white buildings, with their dynamic petal-like shapes, perfectly blend with the vibrant cherry blossom scenery of Wuhan in spring, creating a unique urban landmark by the track.

These two public restrooms, located at the entrance of Wufeng Primary School and the intersection of Heping Port Road near WISCO Gymnasium, were officially opened to the public during the Hanmar Marathon event on March 21.

Cherry blossoms are the form, technology is the bone

The biggest highlight of these two public restrooms is their subversion of traditional construction methods.

Visually, they cleverly incorporate cherry blossom elements - streamlined contours resembling blooming petals, with exquisite cherry blossom decorations on the sides, and a fresh and natural pink and white color scheme that complements the spring scenery of the surrounding racetrack.
