The Principle for Choosing Needle Valve

1. The main pipeline used for sending oil&gas which need be cleaned and be installed underground should choose the needle valve with full diameter and full welded structure; if be installed on the ground, it's better to choose a ball valve with full diameter and welded connection or flanged connection.

2. The petroleum products' transfer pipeline and storage equipment should choose the needle valve with flanged connection.

3. The pipe used for city gas, should choose a needle valve with flanged connection type or NPT connection type.

4. The oxygen pipe system used for metallurgy system, should choose the needle valve which has been strictly degreased and with flanged connection type.

5. The pipeline system and device used for low-temperature medium, should choose the low-temperature needle valve which add the bonnet.

6. The pipeline system of catalytic cracking unit in oil refining unit, can choose the lifting rod type needle valve.

7. The device and pipeline system used for chemical system which with the medium of acid, alkali, and other corrosive media, should choose all stainless steel needle valve made by austenitic and PTFE for the seat ring.

8. The device and pipeline system used for high temperature medium which in metallurgy system, power system, petrochemical system, and heating system, should choose metal to metal sealing needle valve.

9. When need to adjust the flow, can choose the worm gear drive, pneumatic needle valve or electric needle valve with v-shaped opening.
