Elbow( 45°)
MstnLand's series of elbows are used to change the direction of pipes. According to its radius of curvature, it can be divided into long radius elbow and short radius elbow. The long radius elbow refers to the outer diameter of the pipe whose radius of curvature is equal to 1.5 times, that is, R=1.5D; Short radius elbow means that its radius of curvature is equal to the outer diameter of the pipe, that is, R= 1.0d.
According to the Angle, there are 45°, 90° and 180° three most commonly used, in addition, according to the engineering needs of 15°, 30°, 60° and other abnormal Angle Elbow for different materials or wall thickness to choose different molding process. Commonly used seamless elbow forming process has hot push, stamping, extrusion and so on. For slotted elbow, half of the elbow section is usually made by medium plate press, and then the two sections are welded together. This process is generally used to make elbows above DN300.
